The DPKO integrates mine action into peacekeeping operations.

The Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO) is the department responsible for the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS). The Under-Secretary General chairs the Inter-Agency Coordination Group on Mine Action. DPKO integrates mine action into peacekeeping operations in accordance with the Presidential Statement of the Security Council of November 2003.
